This shout out has been long overdue.
This week I met up with clients of ours in Raanana. Steve and Abbe Kutno made Aliyah last summer with their family. Steve met us at the NBN booth last year. He sat down with me at our table and asked me to convince him why our services are better than others offered at the Aliyah fair. I guess I did a decent job because Steve signed up then and there.
This warm couple made Aliyah from the east coast of the US. They left lots of family and close friends to come live in Israel. On top of that, Abbe decided to open her own dental practice in Raanana. I don’t know if any of you have experienced the trials of tribulations of building in this country or getting permits…let’s just say…it ain’t so fun and it ain’t so easy (huge understatement!!!) But Abbe and her 2 colleagues did it. The office was supposed to open in September but ended up opening in November. I have to be honest. I don’t have many fears, but the dentist’s office is top of my list. When I got out of the elevator and walked into this stunning office (really looks like a modern spa) I breathed a sigh of relief. The office is beautiful with top notch modern technology. There is a calmness about the place that puts even me at ease. Abbe herself exuded calmness and I would feel confident even sending my ten-year-old to her (she is even more scared of dentists than me)?
Today’s shout out goes to Steve and Abbe for making Aliyah, starting a business and always keeping a smile on their faces. Their positivity is a joy to see. If you want excellent dental care, visit Abbe’s practice http://www.raananadental.com. They even have after-hours care. And a big thanks to Steve for sending me such a great email after our meeting: “You are fantastic at what you do and I am so glad that you remain connected as we make our way through this crazy world.”
I’m so happy to have met you both and to be part of your Aliyah story.
