VIP 50+ Package
Making Aliyah can be overwhelming and stressful. Olim Advisors offers a package specifically designed to help Olim and Anglos in the 50+ age group.
The package begins the day you sign up and ends 6 months after your Aliyah date, and covers the services outlined below and includes both pre- and post-Aliyah guidance. Our team will be available to assist you via email, WhatsApp, and phone calls during business hours. The package applies to all children 17 years and younger at the time of Aliyah.
This comprehensive package will save you money, time, effort, and frustration. Let Olim Advisors make your family’s Aliyah as stress-free and successful as possible.
Duration of service:
Service begins the day you sign up and ends 6 months after your Aliyah date.
This package includes:
- Initial Consultation: A 1-hour conference call to understand your family’s goals and current situation.
- Pre-Aliyah Checklist: A detailed checklist of tasks to complete before Aliyah.
- Shipping Guide: A comprehensive guide explaining the shipping process and a list of recommended companies.
- Choosing a Community: We will brainstorm together about communities that suit you best and provide contacts with realtors, residents and Olim coordinators (if such a role exists in the community).
- Finding a Home (Renting or Buying): We will connect you with a real estate broker and lawyer to assist in finding a suitable home.
- Rental Car: We will introduce you to a reputable broker who will give you a price quote based on your needs.
- Choosing Schools: We will assist you in registering your children for school and ganim (nursery schools) when possible and explain to you how the Israeli educational system works. We will introduce you to the “book project” if applicable. If you need help researching schools, we can assist you with this for an additional fee.
- Post Aliyah Game Plan: We will provide you with a list of what needs to be done after Aliyah.
- Internet Setup: We will Introduce you to a reliable English-speaking company for internet, cell phone, cable and land line services.
- Utility Transfers: We will help switch utilities into your name and set up automatic payments.
- Arnona: We will assist with transferring the Arnona to your name and applying for the Olim discount. Olim Advisors is not responsible for applying for the discount a second time.
- Healthcare: We will help you choose the best healthcare provider for your needs and assist in obtaining healthcare cards for the entire family.
- Doctor appointments: We will help schedule your first doctor appointments (up to 2 appointments per person – this does not include medical research about a specific medical condition – ask about our healthcare package if needed).
- Misrad Hapnim (Ministry of Interior): We will specify which documents you need to bring, schedule and accompany you to your appointment to process your temporary TZ (if applicable), Biometric TZ and an Israeli Teudat Maavar in one appointment.
- Israeli Bank Account: We will specify which documents you need to bring, schedule an appointment and accompany you to open an Israeli bank account.
- Misrad Haklita (Ministry of Absorption): We will specify which documents you need to bring, schedule the appointment to set up your Sal Klita payments and Ulpan vouchers and accompany you to the meeting.
- Israeli Driver’s License: We will guide you through the process of converting your driver’s license, specify which documents you need to bring, schedule the appointment for you and accompany you to the appointment.
- Online portals: We will help set up online accounts and have a zoom session to familiarize you with the banking and healthcare apps (i.e. how to reach your banker, how to request a doctor referral).
- Ulpan: We will provide information on different Ulpan options and assist you in selecting the most suitable one.
- Government Apps: We will explain how to use government apps, including opening your personal space and navigating necessary procedures.
- Rav Kav & Senior ID: We will help you obtain your Rav Kav (for public transportation) and apply for a senior citizen card, if relevant.
Additional Support:
- Olim Advisors will help you download your bank app and explain how to do basic functions like transferring money, setting up automatic payments, etc.
- Olim Advisors will help to fill out the Tofes Yarok (dmv application) in order to get your driver’s license converted.
- Olim Advisors will help fill out any forms that are presented at the different appointments listed above.
- Olim Advisors will be available during business hours by email or phone Sunday – Thursday. If there is an emergency, let us know and we will guide you to get the assistance you need.
- Olim Advisors will send you an explanation of Bituach Leumi (National Insurance Institute), but we do not go to any related appointment or deal with Bituach Leumi for our clients (unless they have purchased our Special Needs Package).
- Olim Advisors will help with one off requests such as helping to find a tutor, explaining how to pay a speeding ticket, explaining the Israeli car market when looking to buy a car, and an Olim Advisor’s rep can be added to one or 2 phone calls when needed to translate (This in no way means that the personal advisor becomes the client’s personal secretary).
Important Notes:
- Olim Advisors is obligated to assist with one appointment per office per client/family that is listed in the engagement letter. We ask that the couple (when relevant) coordinate with the advisor to be present together at each of the appointments. If the clients need to go at separate times, we can help to coordinate the second appointment but if the client requests that the advisor be present at the second meeting, there will be an added fee.
- The service does not include dealing with Bituach Leumi (Israeli’s National Insurance Department), however we can answer questions about Bituach Leumi and direct you to vetted professionals and accountants/tax advisors who can advise in that area.
- The service period begins on the date specified below and continues for 6 months following your Aliyah.
