When do you need to start paying Bituach Leumi payments after you finish the army or Sherut Leumi service?

For all of you that have sons and daughters who have recently finished their service:

Make sure they start paying Bituach Leumi two months after their service ends.

Bituach Leumi may  not reach out to them and it is important to take the initiative and make payments in a timely fashion, otherwise there are fees tacked on.

Those who travel out of Israel for extended periods of time should continue paying Bituach Leumi to keep all the rights and to avoid penalties.
